Victron Energy exists 35 years, a milestone that needs to be celebrated! Therefore, Victron SAIL 2010 was organised, in the middle of SAIL 2010 Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Several boats with a waving Victron-flag sailed through the canals of Amsterdam. In the evening there was a spectacular fireworks show. It was a great day! Lesen Sie den ganzen Bericht
We offer a wide range of Hybrid Power Solutions for off-grid Base Transmission Stations (BTS) with integrated Network Operation Centers (NOC).
The advantages of installing a hybrid system designed by Victron Energy are:

Some examples of hybrid installations:
This phone mast in Austria is placed high on a mountain, where is no connection to the grid. Therefore, the phone mast was fully depending on a generator. Some disadvantages of a generator are the high costs of fuel, the noise and the air pollution. A perfect solution to solve these problems is a hybrid system. Instead of running the generator 24/7 at low load it will run short periods at high load to charge the battery bank. The telecom equipment is powered from the batteries when the generator is switched off. Wolfgang Pirker Electrotechnik and Victron Energy collaborated to design a system which reduced the use of the generator enormously. The installation consists of 3 MultiPlus 48/3000 units and 3 Skylla 48/50 units, in a 3-phase configuration. Before the hybrid installation, the noisy generator was working 24 hours a day. With the equipment of Victron, the phone mast can function for 5 days without the use of the generator. The generator will start automatically to charge the batteries.
